We’re proud to announce that, for the 19th year in a row, we’ve been recognised as one of The Times Top Employers for Gender Equality in the Workplace. With just 50 companies making the list, this accolade recognises our continued commitment to achieving gender parity across our business.

The annual list is the UK’s most highly profiled and well-established listing of employers taking action and making gender equality part of their business strategy at all levels. Run by the charity Business in the Community (BITC), part of the Prince of Wales’ Responsible Business Network, the highly competitive process identifies companies which make gender equality part of their business strategy and are trying to bring it to life at all levels of their organisations.

“We’re delighted to have made the list again and proud that our internal progress has kept us as one of the only companies on the list from the very beginning!

Championing gender equality is a key thread to our DE&I strategy at PepsiCo and something we drive throughout the business. From long-standing female leadership programmes to revising our polices and benefits to be more inclusive, we look at the full spectrum of the many facets of gender equality.

We’re particularly proud of our wonderful Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), specifically, our Thrive (Gender Equality), Parent & Carers groups and EQUAL (LGBTQ+), who continue to be instrumental partners for the business in raising awareness, driving conversation and influencing change to ensure we’re truly inclusive in our workforce.

The recent changes to our family leave policy – extending both our parental leave polices by an additional 8 weeks; 10 weeks fully paid for our short-term parental leave (formally called paternity) and our extended parental leave (formally called maternity) to 26 weeks fully paid - are testament to our partnership with them.

While we’re proud of our progress, we know there is still much to do and won’t take our foot off the pedal as we continue to drive gender parity throughout the business.”
