As part of our 'She Is PepsiCo' campaign, celebrating women in supply chain and operations roles at our UK sites, we've donated £5,000 to women's charities in each of our 'She is PepsiCo' honourees' local areas.
Ewa Doroslawska in Coventry chose Kairos Women Working Together - a charity that supports and advocates for women in Coventry subject to or at risk of sexual exploitation, empowering them on the journey towards safety, stability, self-belief and self-reliance.
Sharon McLaughlin, Fundraising Manager at Kairos, shared that 'It’s great that you recognise the vital work that Kairos is doing to support some of the most vulnerable women in Coventry. We get no Government funding, so donations like this really do make a difference'.
Alex Praja in Skelmersdale chose Young Women's Trust, a charity which champions young women aged 18 to 30 on low or no pay. Lily Kendall, Corporate Partnerships Manager for the charity, shared,
'This is such wonderful news! Thank you for PepsiCo's kind donation and your interest in supporting us further. We'd love for your colleagues to hear from the young women you're helping.'
Manjit Kaur in Leicester chose Women's Aid, a charity who offer temporary refuge accommodation and support services for all victims of domestic abuse and violence, regardless of race, gender, age or sexual orientation.
Sophie McGoff, Chief Executive of the charity, said 'Thank you so much for choosing our organisation to support! We really cannot continue with our work without the support of others, thank you.'
